PART-TIME
Teaching the love of dance and joy of music is the number 1 priority of CDP for the part-time dancer.  Classes are offered in jazz, tap, ballet, acrobatics and hip-hop to students age 2 to Adult in various levels and ability.

The part-time program teaches the basic principles, terminology and foundation of dance.  It incorporates an awareness of a healthy body and a positive attitude.  All programs are based on a set syllabus to insure a consistent high standard of instruction.

All students perform in our spectacular year end recital June 13, 2009 at the beautiful Rose Theatre.  Including rehearsals, this is a week-long event from Monday to Saturday.  Coffey's Danc'n Place takes great pride in showing off our dancers as the recital is a very important part of their training.

FULL-TIME:
“Failure is not the conclusion of our dreams; it is simply one step closer to ultimate success”.  Kristin Gillis

Classes are offered in jazz, tap, ballet, acrobatics, hip-hop, company, stretch & strength, jumps & turns and pointe to students age 6 to Adult.

The full-time program teaches a strong, solid, technical foundation along with an artistic expression to each dancer.  We encourage a healthy body and a positive attitude to bring forth the ultimate goal.  “making each competition about your personal best rather than winning.”

All students must take 2 ballet classes and 1 Stretch and Strength class per week.  All Inter Foundation, Intermediate and Advanced Ballet classes in addition to their Stretch and Strength class must also take a Jumps and Turns class and a Pointe class.  All tap, acro, hip-hop and lyrical students must take jazz.  All our competitive teams will compete in 4 competitions per season and 1 US competition starting summer of 2009 and every other summer after that.  All group dances will perform in our spectacular year end Recital along with any solos, duets or trios that received an overall score at any of the 4 competitions.
